Meaning little by little, the bird builds its nest. As a printmaker, I love harnessing etching’s detailed and nuanced nature to portray ants and their routes- allowing my metal plates to permeate unique markings through an alchemic process. Across a blend of attraction and repulsion, the work depicts the dichotomy of fear and desire that coexists in life.
